Special Issue on Cardiovascular Disease in Women

Journal of Women's Health is seeking high-quality research papers for a special issue on the topic of Cardiovascular Disease in Women. The journal will consider Research Articles, Reviews, and Commentaries on the following topics, among others:

• Sex and gender differences in the presentation and clinical course of heart disease and stroke
• Appropriate use of diagnostic testing, including biomarkers of disease
• Treatment outcomes
• Epidemiology
• Health policy

The readers of Journal of Women's Health are mostly primary care providers who are interested in the comprehensive care of women across all phases of life. While basic science research could be responsive to this call for papers, submissions should have relevance for the clinical care of women.
