Biopreservation and Biobanking is planning a Special Issue focusing on Emerging Markets and Technologies. The issue will publish during the year-long promotion and celebration of the publication’s 20th year anniversary. The editors invite manuscripts from practitioners, researchers, and stakeholders advancing the field. Some paper themes identified, with examples, as follows:
- Personalized products, such as those based on genomic/metabolic profiling at the individual or population level

- Novel biotechnology linked to population science/health
