Applied In Vitro Toxicology is calling for original research and review manuscripts that address the use of integrated strategy approaches to investigate and/or assess toxicological effects, to be published in its next Special Issue.
Integrated strategy approaches blend different information sources including, for example, one or multiple in vitro methodologies, computerized and in silico systems, artificial intelligence, exposure and/or kinetics modelling, systematic reviews, clinical data, etc.
The integrated strategy approaches can represent a combination of existing and newly generated data, a sequential testing strategy, a parallel testing battery, and/or a defined approach leading to the prediction of a certain mechanism of action or toxicological effect.
If you have recently conducted a study that integrates more than one information source as described above for research purposes, screening purposes, safety assessment and/or to contribute to a more mechanistic and predictive toxicological assessment via for example the use of adverse outcome pathways or ontology-driven strategies, your work interests us.
If you are interested in publishing your work regarding the use of Integrated Strategy Approaches for toxicological assessment in the upcoming AIVT special issue, please submit your manuscript here by March 15, 2021.
Looking forward to taking into consideration your work for our upcoming special issue.
