    Mary Ann Liebert, Inc., in partnership with the Rosalind Franklin Society launched a prestigious annual award to recognize outstanding published peer-reviewed research by women and underrepresented minorities in science in each of the publisher’s peer-reviewed journals. The RFS Awards in Science for Journal of Gynecologic Surgery has selected Rachel Rapkin, MD, MPH who co-authored History of Abortion Legislation in the United States

Journal of Gynecologic Surgery is the only journal providing an essential, peer-reviewed forum for clinical articles dealing with all aspects of operative gynecology. The Journal provides the most current research on cutting-edge techniques and advances in gynecologic surgery from world-renowned experts.
