New Rochelle, NY, January 22, 2024—Mary Ann Liebert, Inc., is pleased that Jane Gibson, PhD, FACMG, has been appointed the new Editor-in-Chief of the monthly journal Genetic Testing and Molecular Biomarkers (GTMB). Dr. Gibson is replacing Garth Ehrlich, PhD, FAAAS, as Editor-in-Chief.
Genetic Testing and Molecular Biomarkers provides authoritative, peer-reviewed research on the development of new genetic testing technologies and the ethical, legal, social, and economic issues associated with genetic testing. It is the leading peer-reviewed journal covering all aspects of human genetic testing including molecular biomarkers

Dr. Gibson is an Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs, Pegasus Professor of Pathology, Chair of the Department of Clinical Sciences, and Director of Molecular Diagnostics at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG), is a fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG), and serves as a member of the American Association for Molecular Pathology Board of Directors as President Elect. Dr. Gibson is a medical geneticist and molecular pathologist who uses genomic technology to improve patient diagnostics and treatment and shares a career of knowledge with the next generation of medical professionals.
