The development of CRISPR-based genome editing has enabled researchers around the world to apply this exciting technology for a wide range of studies in a multitude of different organisms. Nowhere is this more apparent than in China, where basic researchers and physician-scientists are using CRISPR to understand developmental biology, improve plant breeding, and develop new therapies for genetic and infectious diseases.
The CRISPR Journal is proud to announce a new special issue – "CRISPR in CHINA” – to be published in Spring 2021. We invite researchers across China to submit papers on original research on any aspect of CRISPR biology, genome editing technologies and their applications. We will also consider guest commentaries and review articles. The CRISPR Journal is spearheaded by a distinguished editorial board including Jennifer Doudna, George Church, and Caixia Gao, and recently received its first impact factor of 5.343.

Manuscripts will receive prompt peer review and accepted articles will be published online (epub) ahead of print. Please refer to our Instructions for Authors before submitting your manuscript for consideration.
